A Mini-Retreat in Assisi

Let me save you $4,000! The "Retreat in Assisi" is based on a retreat I led in Italy in 2014 and offers you the opportunity to experience the beauty of the Basilicas of St. Francis and St. Clare without the hefty price-tag.

During this two-hour online retreat, you will have the opportunity to learn two important styles of prayer--the Prayer of Consideration and Imaginative Prayer--and take virtual tours of two important basilicas in Assisi, Italy.

Here is the structure of the retreat--

• After the introductory video, you'll enjoy a succinct lesson on the Prayer of Consideration, a revered style of prayer for Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Then, you'll take a virtual tour of the Basilica of St. Francis, with an emphasis on the beautiful frescos of Giotto. You will then be given a guide for enjoying about 15-20 minutes of personal prayer. Afterwards, if you're interested in testing how well you paid attention to the tour, you can take a fun quiz.
• Next, you'll enjoy a teaching on Ignatius' favorite style of prayer--Imaginative Prayer. Then, you will take a virtual tour of the Basilica of St. Clare, home of the famous San Damiano crucifix. Afterwards, you will have another period of personal prayer, with an optional fun quiz at the end.
